No, you don’t need to be an experienced swimmer to join. We simply ask that you’re able to swim one lap (50m) of the pool independently. Feel free to attend a training session, where one of our friendly coaches will assess your skill level and provide guidance.
If you would like to sign up for the club after completing your one month trial, the club will assist you with joining. This involves signing up via SwimCentral. Please follow the instructions provided by MSA for “New Members” found here.
For training, all you need is a swimsuit, a drink bottle and a pair of goggles. The club provides training aids such as fins, kickboards, and pull buoys for use during sessions. Many members choose to purchase their own equipment over time.
